ENLIGHTENED STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESSEvent organisers Gavin Gowans and John Sparks have been asked on a few occasions what they hope to get out of running such an event. After much discussion they realised that it might help provide a very positive focus for the meeting if they let other people know their thoughts. After reading The One Minute Millionaire by Victor Hansen and Robert G Allen, both Gavin and John - they did not know each other at this time - were motivated to become involved in Enlightened Wealth Creation. This is a concept where people work together to create wealth in positive ways, and at the same time give back to their own communities. As they discussed holding an event as part of Gavin's Scotland Property Networking Club, they realised that they had a chance to record the results of whatever joint ventures came out of the event, and then to donate a minimum of 10% to the charities and good causes of their choice. At first they were thinking only of their own ventures, but further conversation led to the realisation that this was an opportunity to be open to the possibility that others might also like to record and report the results of any joint ventures that arose out of the event. This in turn would lead to a unique group of people supporting each other to create wealth in an enlightened way, and would also lead to more money being generated for good causes. If you would like to be included in this group, you do not need to take any immediate action. Gavin and John will report to the group with details of any of their ventures that take place as a result of contacts made during the meeting, and you can choose to add your results as and when you see fit.
